Bryan Lee O’Malley is a cartoonist from Canada. He created the 6-volume graphic novel series SCOTT PILGRIM, which was adapted into a film and videogame in 2010.
He records music under the name KUPEK.
He currently lives in Los Angeles.

You may not have seen my Scott Pilgrim developmental sketches, script excerpts, concept art, and other things.
Before you write, note the following: I don’t make myself available for illustration work, commission artwork or gift sketches; I stay busy making comics (and am lucky enough to make a living at it).
I’m not currently looking for interviews, signings or convention appearances.
And just so you know, I’m bad about replying to emails but I do read all of them. There is no assistant or anything like that, it’s just me.

Q. What are you going to do now that Scott Pilgrim is finished?
A. I’m going to do new comics. Right now I’m working on a stand-alone graphic novel called “Seconds” (to be released in 2013).
Q. What about Scott?!?
A. It’s hugely flattering that so many fans would like to see more S.P. adventures, but in this next book I’m going to explore new characters. (That doesn’t mean I’ll never return to the S.P. universe, just that there won’t be a “Scott Volume 7″ at this time.)
Q. How do I make comics like you?

um no, he didn’t say he was assisting me. He actually is supposed to do a pinup of like every character in the book. he was supposed to do this pinup like in 2006 so i always rag on him for not having it done yet.

And, looking at the comments on Nate’s blog again, where I was pestering him at the same time as I was pestering you, I see that he has now mentioned the same thing about a pinup, which he promises to do this year for real! So yay!
